Useful Windows Command Prompt Tricks and Commands:

The Command prompt opens like this:

->To clear the screen
cls

->To change from one directory to another
cd <Folder name>

->To get back to drive
cd\

->To get back from one folder
cd..

->To make a directory
md <folder name>

->To display all the directories present in the drive
dir

->To display all the folders and files present in the drive
dir/s

->To format the USB drive from command prompt
format /q /u <drive name>

/q is for quick format

/u resemble unconditional format

->To change color of the font of command prompt
color fc

For more colors "color y"

Select desired from the list displayed.For color black "color 1".Similarly

color <space> choice.

choice means the required color.

->How to copy a file from one directory to another.

Navigate to the directory in which the file is present.

Then "copy filename.extension path"

Here path refers to the place where the file is to be copied.

For example F:\ROMs\Çlock Work Mode

The file copies Successfully.

->To change password of the username

Type "net user" and hit enter.It will display all the user accounts available.

To get the details of any user account
net user user_name

To change the user account password
net user user_name *

Hit enter

It will ask to enter the password.Enter the password and hit enter.It will ask the password for another time.The password changes successfully.

Note:The password entered will not be visible.But enter the password to change.

What is APK..Mod APK..

APK means Android Application Package.Similar to executable file .exe in the windows operating system the extension of apk file is ".apk".The apk file can be installed in the google's android operating system.

A general apk file consist of applications code (.dex files),manifest file,assets,resource files.

While installing an application on android device we need network connection to install the application,after installation the application gets installed.We can also install the application without network connection i.e., by installing the apk.To save the apk file of installed application we need another application to backup the apk file on device.

There is difference in between the apk and mod apk.The mod apk is file which is cracked or modified by the user.For example in the mod temple run apk we can get unlimited coins as in the general apk we need to win or buy the coins.But some times the mod apk's cause harm to the data present in the mobile.

Then search for the required apk.

Click on the desired apk.Then copy the link in address bar.

Now paste the link in the empty field there and click on generate download link.

It takes some time depending on the file size and network connection speed and the download link will be ready.Then click on the "click here to download the file now"

Whatsapp is cross-platform messaging app.Recently Mark Zukerberg the CEO of facebook purchased whatsapp for about 19 billion dollars.

Most of the people are using whatsapp these days.The platform for it is Android.But we can use the whatsapp in pc also.

To use whatsapp in pc we need another software named Bluestacks.

Minimum Configuration to install Bluestacks on your pc is:

->Admin rights on the PC

->Network Connection

->OS :-windows Xp,7,8,8.1

->RAM must be minimum of 2GB.

->The Graphic drivers must be updated.

Installing Bluestacks:

Download the setup from official site of bluestacks

Choose download app player for xp,vista,7,8.

Choose save when it prompts.

Run the downloaded file

A scren appears as below:

Click Continue.

It takes some time to get installed.Also it downloads some game data.

After the installation of the bluestacks a window opens:

Hit on Search and you will be navigted to the google play store.Then search for Whatsapp and click install.

After completion of installation click on the home button on the left bottom and click on whatsapp icon there.

Then you will be asked for mobile number.Then the mobile number need to be verified.

Click ok.In a few seconds you will get a unique code from whatsapp.Enter the same in the bluestacks windows when prompted.

Whatsapp have been successfully installed on your pc.

Now you can start your chat.
