Hola! Hope you all are doing well. We are back with one more article.
Have you got vexed by irrelevant
ads on YouTube and other apps/websites? BugsBin has a solution for you. Yes,
what you read is right.
You can turn off the irrelevant ads
that come across your casual internet surfing or binge-watching. Let’s see how.
- Firstly sign-in to your Gmail account
- Click on your profile pic in the top right corner and then click on “Privacy”
- A new tab will be opened where you can see the Privacy Policies of Google.
- On the right-side menu, click on “Your Privacy Controls”
- There you can find a hyperlink for “Privacy Checkup”
- Click on that and you will be redirected to a new tab where you can perform the privacy check-up for your Google account.
- Click on ‘Start Now’ and you will be able to see a total of six steps in your ‘Privacy Checkup’
- Here you can control your watch history, what you share, your google photos and a lot more
- The last step is the setting we have been waiting for i.e., ‘the ads managing setting’
- Once you choose what you want to do with the top 5 steps, you will see a hyperlink saying “MANAGE YOUR AD SETTINGS”
- Click on that and you will be redirected to a new tab. If you wish to turn off the ad personalization you may turn it off by clicking on the toggle button displayed there.
- If you wish to have your ads personalized and want to choose the categories of ads you wanna see, scroll a bit down and you could see various categories there.
- Feel free to turn off a specific category by clicking on it and enjoy your binge-watching with some relevant ads.
